2023/2024 Brief Impact Report: Ja Ja Morris Christian Hospital - Empowering Healthcare, Transforming Lives
This report outlines the work done in the lead up to the official opening of the organisation up until the date of publication (23/8/24). Whilst not yet officially operating, work was still being done in the name of Ja Ja Morris Christian Hospital and we felt it important to make note of this valuable work already being undertaken.
We are proud to share our impact report for 2023/2024, highlighting the lives touched and transformed through our charitable work. Your support has enabled us to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals, particularly pregnant mothers and children. Ja Ja Morris Christian Hospital was borne out of a vision to provide quality healthcare to those in need. From humble beginnings, God has faithfully guided us , and we are thrilled to share our progress. Recently, we purchased a plot of land with a building. In October this year, we will embark on renovation works, transforming the space into a state of the art hospital.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Pregnancy support: Provided labor kits to 30 expectant mothers, ensuring safe deliveries and healthy starts for newborns Cesarean Section Assistance: Facilitated medical funding for 3 mothers requiring cesarean sections, ensuring access to life-saving surgeries.
Medical Bill Assistance: Covered medical bills for 17 children and 10 mothers,alleviating financial burdens and promoting recovery.
Safe Labor Practices: Equipped 80 pregnant mothers with packets of gloves, a critical requirement during labor, reducing the risk of infection and promoting a safe delivery environment.
Children’s Health: we have so far enabled 27 kids to undergo necessary laboratory tests, diagnosing and treating underlying health conditions.
Additional Milestones:
Mobile Accommodation: we acquired 4 tents for Ja Ja Morris Christian Hospital, enabling us to accommodate visitors and staff during outreaches and events, ensuring comfortable shelter and flexibility
Sustainable Energy: We purchased second hand solar panels, providing a reliable and eco-friendly source of energy for our facility.
